Palmyra Regional Rehabilitation Center (PRRC) offers comprehensive diagnostics and treatment to help clients overcome functional limitations brought on by injury or illness. The rehabilitation team at PRRC consists of physiatrists, nurses, neuropsychologists, physical therapists, therapeutic recreational specialists, speech pathologists, and case managers. These healthcare professionals work with clients of all ages including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. PRRC is committed to providing the most up-to-date treatment to patients with all impairments including, but not limiting to, neurological, orthopedic, developmental and cardiac, to help them achieve the highest possible level of functional independence. Through our team approach we are able to offer individualized assessment and treatment to each patient in acute care, in-patient rehabilitation, day treatment program, or out-patient rehabilitation services. Together the staff provides a smooth transition for the patient back to their environment through family training, home evaluations, community outings and discharge planning. Several specialized programs are offered through Palmyra Medical Centers including post-polio syndrome clinic, orthotic and prosthetic training, wound care program, and therapeutic riding and a comprehensive driving program. Our team at PRRC can provide comprehensive care for all patients' needs.
